Building a landscape model for a silly story from my book series.
This story follows a tank patrol that gets ambushed and is filled with my usual dumb humour. I only have one model tank and a small space to build a landscape. This shows the elements used.
The area I had was the top of a pool table and shows the limited landscape I could build. The model gets repositioned for each element and the landscape altered. It is all composited in Photoshop with added background elements.
The characters are very small and I only had a couple of lights, most needed for the green screen. This made depth of field a bit tricky. It takes a long time in Photoshop to process all the elements, a couple of hundred in this story.
This scene is where they finally get the enemy. They see his speech bubble which gives away his position. It is a comic and there are speech bubbles everywhere and my humour is silly.
